NOW Capital Advisors is seeking a Business Development Representative to join our team! Your role will be to seek new business opportunities by developing referral relationships with essential COI’s and build relationships with potential clients.
To be successful in this role, you should have previous experience developing leads and meeting sales quotas. You will use your communication skills to cultivate strong relationships with clients, from first contact until you close the deal. You will also ensure proper after-sales service. Responsibilities
Develop referral relationships with CPA firms, banks, private equity firms, M&A lawyers and other essential COIs
Source new leads from networking referral partners and events
Own sales life cycle from identification of opportunities to close
Develop relationships with prospects, including C-level and Director-level executives
Conduct sales meetings with C-suite executives to discover needs and present a solution by displaying our service capability and clearly defining our value proposition
Collaborate with consultant and partner teams both locally and nationally to develop proposals, onboard new clients, and identify upsells
Coordinate relationship building activities with networking partners, prospects, and internal team
Maintain an average of 20-25 meetings per week – including both networking 1on1s, events, and sales meetings
Manage business opportunities, contacts, and activity in Microsoft Dynamics
Network and build relationships with new and existing client base
Qualifications
Proven work experience as a Business Development Representative, Sales Account Executive or similar role
B.S/B.A in Business Administration or related field preferred
