It will be determined upon award, if the postion can be remote, and or if there are any positions required"on-site".Responsibilities:Position Requirements:Skilled in using the dynamic programming tools and languages that fuel games and simulations and has an in depth understanding of the software development lifecycle and ability to communicate project status, issues, and resolutions.Build and integrate interactive games and simulations, applications, and services for both internal and public sites.Ensure functionality and usability by developing Web applications and testing them on various browsers, enhancing and modifying them as necessary to ensure the best experience for the user.Architect game and simulation sites, design data-driven applications, and find efficient client-server solutions.Control full life-cycle development, from initial design through implementation and support; meet project tasks and objectives.Write functional and design specifications for game and simulation applications. Create and implement game and simulation sites.Create and monitor Web applications for clients and servers.Code, test, and support database-driven Web applications.Work with the technical lead on designing new and innovative solutions.Experience with JavaScript application development; building web applications for mobile touchscreen-based devices; developing in C/C++ and/or Java within Linux and Windows; Drupal; Moodle; and Subversion (SVN).Expertise in DHTML, DOM scripting, CSS, possessing strong SQL skills; and ability to envision and explain how technology can be used to improve processes in new and innovative ways.Past experience in courseware development; OpenLayers API, and building web apps with at least one major commercial mapping API (Google, Bing, etc.) is a plus.Requirements:Degree: BachelorYears of experience: 10Benefits:
