Senior DevOps Engineer (Docker & Kubernetes)

Description:

Authority Partners is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to join our global team. As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will design, develop and maintain large-scale distributed systems, and coordinate with internationally distributed development teams. The person working in this position should be comfortable working on-premises, as we are not working in a cloud environment.

You will stand out if you have:

• Extensive knowledge of DevOps concepts and practices
• In-depth understanding of software development lifecycle
• Understanding of general-purpose programming languages and coding best practices
• Extensive experience with Azure DevOps
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
• SonarQube, Veracode, Prometheus, and Grafana experience/exposure
• Understanding of Ansible
• Experience with PowerShell and other scripting languages
• Expert-level understanding of build processes, CI/CD, Git, and release pipelines
• Advanced written and verbal communication skills
• Proactivity - a focus on getting things done, with strong attention to detail

Bonus points for:

• Linux Administration
• Experience with Microservices

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field would be of great value, but if you’re passionate and have the experience that backs up your abilities, for us, talent outweighs degree every time.
