Job Title: Remote Senior PHP Developer (Symfony)
Job Description:
Quantified Commerce, a full-service media agency based in NYC, is seeking a talented and experienced Senior PHP Developer with a strong background in Symfony MVC framework to join our remote team. The ideal candidate should possess exceptional PHP and MySQL knowledge, attention to detail, and a strong work ethic.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop efficient, clean, readable, fast, and testable code
- Design, build, and maintain efficient, highly available, and high performing web applications that handle large quantities of mission-critical information
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and implementation of new features and improvements
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues in a timely and effective manner
- Utilize GIT version control and collaborate effectively in a remote team setting
- Manage your time effectively to meet project deadlines and expectations
Required Skills and Attributes:
- Exceptional PHP and MySQL knowledge
- Experience developing to PHP MVC principles (Symfony preferred)
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Strong troubleshooting skills
- GIT version control and experience working in a remote team setting
- Exceptional time-management skills
Nice to Have:
- Working knowledge of AWS or other PaaS environments
- Good awareness of user experience
- Experience with digital marketing
Salary and Benefits:
- Competitive salary based on experience
- Location: Remote / Anywhere (preference to those who can work eastern time (New York)
- Full-time (40 hours per week), Monday to Friday inclusive
