Senior QA Automation Engineer (performance testing)

Summary

We are looking for a Senior Test Automation Engineer who can build and further enrich test automation framework for one of the products of our client.

Responsibilities

• apply intermediate level SME testing knowledge to support testing activities

• demonstrated breadth of experience in testing web applications and testing tools

• able to review, analyze functional requirements, specifications, technical design with minimal supervision and provide timely and meaningful feedback

• create detailed, comprehensive, and well structured test cases/scripts

• execute test cases/scripts, analyze results, and report summary to team and product owner

• create test documentation

• establish/improve process for reporting bugs and managing defects if needed

• create and maintain a test library

• support sprint planning by providing breakdown of test activities and estimates

• build and manage relationships and ensure customer satisfaction

Must have

• strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes

• knowledgeable in performance testing

• able to establish knowledge of application data and functionality in 2 to 3 months

Nice-to-have

• Very good English language skills

• Strong communication skills, ability to work directly with client

• Problem-solving and analytical skills

• Ability to explore emerging technologies
