Software Architect

We are looking for "Software Architect” to join our Architecture team.

Who you are

• At least 5+ years of professional software engineering experience in designing and building backend systems
• Java/Spring and its components/Spring Boot development experience of 3+ years
• Microservices development experience of 2+ years
• Good knowledge of Object-Oriented design and SOLID principles
• Experience in TDD, DDD
• Experience with containerization and orchestration frameworks such as Docker and/or Kubernetes
• Experience with non-relational, NoSQL databases and other data analytics applications (ELK, Couchbase, MongoDB, Redis, Cassandra, Solr)
• Experience with relational databases (Oracle, PostgreSQL)
• Experience with messaging queues (Kafka, RabbitMq)
• Knowledge of Cloud Services (especially GCP and related GCP Services)
• Expert level understanding of CI/CD principles, knowhow of various tools, and passionate focus on CI/CD practices
• Prior experience with SCRUM/Agile methodologies
• Strong oral and written communication skills

• Providing active “hands-on” architectural guidance and leadership through the entire life-cycle of products
• Support teams for troubleshooting system-level integration and performance issues
• Collaborating closely with other architects and peers across the organization architecting and delivering solutions
• Developing and leading proof-of-concepts projects
• Driving discussions with senior co-workers regarding trade-offs, best practices
• Conduct code reviews and provide feedback to team members
• Discover, learn, and implement new technologies
• Performing of evaluations of technology standards, tools/products and solutions
• Define guidelines and recommendations based on leading industry practices tailored to our needs and infrastructure
• Investigate and recommend new and emerging tools and technologies to assist teams in achieving outcomes
• Leading at technology transformation on backend architecture.
